In some cases this is a fictitious association; in other cases it is plausible but hard to verify. Because these associations are commonly used when identifying garments, even the uncertain ones (or ones known to be false) are included here. This field also includes some "nicknames" for the garments themselves (e.g., "the Moy gown") when that nickname is likely to be familiar to researchers.
